Wireless Headsets GTA5

Hi, recently bought a couple of wireless headset things so my brother and I can communicate whilst playing GTA5 on the PS3.

We have set them up correctly in the PS3 menu and the microphone test works perfectly. However, when we go into a game of online GTA5 together, there is nothing. We think we have tried everything but cannot get any sound out of them.

Has anyone else encountered this? Are they supposed to 'just work' when you go into a game?

Sounds possibly like NAT settings are not allowing VoIP. Check if your Router is using UPNP and if so, disable it and correctly forward ports used by GTA5.
