Ok so I am going to Barcelona this week and planning on taking the PC with me. One teeny question, and then a bigger one.
Teeny question is, I can just plug the laptop in my travel adaptor and that will charge it cant i?

Big question is, the hotel I am going to stay in has wi-fi. I have never used this on my PC before, I did have a wireless router here in my flat but I went back to using the wired modem for various reasons, anyway, is there any way I can check that my wireless will work before I go. Its a toshiba L10, and the school I used to work in had the same laptops as me, and they just had a button that they would press in, and then it would connect to the schools network. Will the wi-fi in the hotel just be the same, or is there anything I need to configure first?

Basically I just want to make sure I have done as much as I can to ensure it works, before I lug it all the way to Spain :)

The travel adaptor will work no problem.

As for the wireless there's no definitive answer without some kind of knowledge of the network at hand. The short answer is yes it will work, but you will have to configure some of settings manually (which the hotel will provide anyway), or maybe not at all if the network is open and unsecured.

So they will tell me what I have to do to acess the network?

I am presuming I will get given a password etc to log in?
