Ok so i have my wireless router in my loft with my computer .

And down stairs i have my skybox and PS3 id like to connect them to the router

what's the best way to do this ?

Cheers in advance Ratman !

Wireless Access Point that allows you to use infrastructure mode for the sky box (assuming you are on Sky Broadband and have a Sky HD box or its pointless)

PS3 should connect to it anyway as they are wireless.

better aerial for the wireless router ?
Wireless access point for both ps3 and skybox may give you better connection.

best way is to lay cat5 cable from loft to downstairs but depends on feasability.

cat5 would be best as said...otherwise you're looking at moving router somewhere in the middle to try and get the best signal for all the house...

I would run a cat5 cable on the outside wall of the property. Drill a hole out from the loft, and somewhere in near the TV/existing arial box/satellite in cables. Install termination boxes if you want it to look smart.
