I'm moving onto Uni on Saturday, and the halls I am living in have wireless internet, I'm waiting on a new laptop, so for now I plan on taking my PC, which I use Ethernet to connect to the internet.
What do I need to pick up the internet wireless in my halls? I generally don't know how wireless works (without the wires?) and what I need to just pick it up.
It's then PCI cards which come with antennas on them isnt it? I'm really not sure and would appreciate any help!
