Hi guys,
I'm trying to help my brother out remotely, so it's a bit hard to explain things and see things.
Basically, they have just got Sky broadband at home, and the wireless works perfectly fine on at least 3 wireless devices (dad's laptop, brother's iPad+iPhone).
The problem is, his laptop will not connect to the router properly or to the internet. It can see the network and it appears to be connected to it, however if you try to go to 192.168.0.1, it times out. It also will not ping 192.168.0.1, it comes back with a message that the host is unreachable.
The TCP/IP settings are all on automatic from what I can tell, and it is getting its own IP number - 192.168.0.4.
Do you have any ideas of what I could try next?
Thanks in advance!
Dave
