Wireless Issues

So I have just plugged in our new BT home hub.

Simply inpuuted the new WEP on the MS computer but on my Mac I select the network, put in the WEP and it keeps telling me I cannot connect.

As I write this now I am using windows on the same macbook (I dual boot), so I know it is nothing to do with the wireless on the laptop itself...

Any ideas why it isnt connecting?

Try putting a $ sign infront of the network SSID (on the MacBook)

How do I change the SSID?

I was just clicking on it from the airport logo...

$ in front of the key afaik.

Anyhow, I had this problem a few weeks ago with someone's laptop and I never sorted it. Try accessing another network which isn't the BT one.
