Wireless keboard solution

I use my PC as a media centre, and my current wireless keyboard (A Trust something or other I paid a tenner for in Asda) doesn't have enough range for my new living room.

Can anyone recommend a wireless keyboard that has a good range? Am I right in thinking a bluetooth one would be better?

By default normal BT has a 10m range there are BT systems with 100m range but I doubt very much they would be employed by a keyboard

My Logitech KB+Mouse are FASTRF, the KB works about 15-18feet away but the MX1000 mouse does not.

My Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 also works about 15-18feet away.

I doubt you or many have a 30foot living room so BT 2.0 (all new Logitechs are this) will cover it.
