Our flat was previously using O2 broadband with there supplied router and we never really experience any problems with the wireless. However, since we changed ISP together with a new Netgear router we are experiencing a lot of trouble trying to connect to the router.

There are 5 people in the flat and we all experience the following problems:

Laptops (Windows) - Just point blank refuses to connect to the router, its on the wireless list but doesnt connect.

Netbooks (Windows) - Connects fine but after 10 minutes we get disconnected

Computers (Windows) - Connects fine but after 10 minutes we get disconnected

Laptop (MAC) - Connects fine without any issues.

Anybody with any clue as to why we are experiencing sooo many problems? I believe the security on the router is running WPA.

:mad::mad:

do you get the disconnects when no security is in place?

is it searching for an IP when disconnecting?

i have had this issue twifce beforte and both times it was the router - just unable to deliver an IP.

No idea, it just disconnects us and then Windows will not connect to it again! How did you resolve your problem in the end?
