Wireless keeps dropping out.

My USB wireless adapter keeps dropping out every 30 minutes or so.

It works fine and then suddenly drops and I have to take the adapter out and then plug it in again, suddenly it starts working again.

I don't think it's the router because no other wireless device seems to drop out.

Any suggestions as to why it's happening?

A lot of USB wireless adapters overheat or are just plain flaky. What model is it?

It's a sitecom adapter.

Strange I switched to the front USB port and it hasn't dropped the signal once. :confused:

Try swapping your wireless channels in your router as my USB adapter does get warm but work fine.

That doesn't sound strange at all.

Could be due to blocked signal or interference round the back?
