My Motherboard here is an Asus-P8Z77-V Deluxe (in my current system).

I have been getting a copy of windows prepared for my new system that doesn't have any optical drive (dvd/cd) (new system coming in days I hope).

Anyway, I think I have pretty much correctly got the bootable ISO of windows onto a prepared USB stick using the normal methods although it did take me a while to figure out.

So I have been trying test runs of the new windows 7 install using the usb stick on my pc here and every time I get to the very first screen after windows sticks on some files it then asks something like "what is your language", its then I notice that my wireless Logitech K750 keyboard and wireless Logitech anywhere mouse just both wont work, they work in bios though and they work as normal in the normal windows enviroment too.

As far as I am aware I have everything enabled in bios for this like legacy for example (is there other things maybe that need changed in bios ?), so apart from that I dont have a clue, does anyone know anything about this ?

I wouldn't imagine that everyone right across the planet can't use their wireless keyboard and mouse when installing windows, eh ?

I tried plugging the little transmitter/receiver into the usb 2 and 3 ports but still nothing, am I missing something maybe that is obvious ?
(I dont have a wired/corded keyboard and mouse handy but I could get them, seems a lot of trouble though just for this)

thanks for everyones help, LOL,but I solved my own problem and I hope this may help others that find themselves in the same position too because going by all the reports about the same issue all over the internet there are thousands if not millions of people with same problem as stated.

I went and bought a brand new £19.99 externall usb dvd writer drive this evening, plugged it in, stuck the windows install dvd in the drive, booted pc, went into the bios, set it to boot from the new dvd drive with the windows disk inside and hey presto, it worked, and I got to use my wireless keyboard and mouse too, the way I see it is for 19.99 it was money well spent for less hassle, I just hope it works on the new system though that is getting built, so we shall see :)
