Wireless keyboard for PC

I just bought myself a Chromecast today. The idea is, I can sit on my sofa and watch stuff that is on my PC, but on the larger Samsung Smart TV screen. With this in mind, I figure I need to get some wireless keyboard so I can just operate everything in as lazy a way as possible!

Any recommendations for keyboards? I already have a £150 mechanical keyboard that I want to continue using for every day use. But this is just for wireless use while on the sofa.

Can you have 2 keyboards connected at the same time? Would I need some kind of USB dongle to allow the remote keyboard to be connected to the PC?

I use a Logitech k400? Which is cheap and has decent trackpad and behaves itself

Another k400 user here for sofa surfing. It lacks any media buttons which is annoying but has the best 'mouse' option in its trackpad.

I have the Microsoft media keyboard with built in trackpad. Worked well with my windows htpc

Does the K400 need a dongle to be plugged into the PC or will it work just using Bluetooth?
