Hi there guys, I seem to be having a bit of an odd problem with my wireless keybaord and mouse setup at the moment

Im using a Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 & a Logitech Wireless Trackball M570.... I've had both for a while and used them in the rig before my current one and had no issues whatsoever

I've just started using them again today and have experienced some little issues that are bugging me. Sometimes when browsing the net I get sluggish typing and sluggish mouse movement.

Anyone got any ideas as to what it could be ? keyboard has plenty of energy resserve and the mouse still has 300+ days left of battery

Possible cause for this may be down to drivers.

Try uninstalling any old mouse/keyboard drivers, and install the latest ones for your product.

Also..try the keyboard/mouse on another PC if possible, does it have the same issue?

Have you changed the position of the receiver or is their anything in the way that might be interfering with the signal, cordless phone, mobile etc. I had a similar issue when I purchased a new monitor. I literally moved the receiver forward by 100mm and the problem went away.
It might also be worth making sure you have the latest drivers especially if you have changed your system recently.

I've got latest drivers and everything and yeh its doing it in diff systems too, I was considering the possibility of it being down to my wireless net connection so I changed it to wired but still gettin the same issues. Would it be possible for a router to cause this sort of thing as thats about the only other thing I can think of thats nearby

Do you have a usb extension cable if so put the nano receiver into it and place it as close to the Keyboard and mouse as possible, then see if it still does the same.

If you have a dual band N router it might be worth changing it to 5GHZ. It might also be worth trying to change the channel on the 2.4GHZ band. I would however exhaust all other options before changing the router settings. Alternatively you could just turn your router off to see if the problem goes away.

Dandaman, I'm having the same issues as well here and there with my k750. My netgear modem/router is also very close to the logitech universal dongle.

Hi there, sorry I havent replied back.

I recently got msyelf an extension cable for the dongle and the problem isn't as bad as it once was but I think the router has a part to play in it cos when I'm downloading my typing starts to go a bit iffy but when im done its fine again :S
