Hoping you guys can help me out. I am looking for a new keyboard and mouse to replace my old cheapo setup.

I don't game with the mouse or keyboard, prefering the xbox 360 controller. Both have to be wireless, and preferably running of a single receiver (like to logitech unified thingy) but could live without this. Don't want the mouse to be too small like many of the laptop ones seem to be. They will be for offie work and web browsing but I also want something aesthetically plaeasing, particularly the keyboard. My rig has a red & black theme so something along those lines would be great.

Max budget is £100 for the pair. I almost bought the logitech k750 solar powered keyboard and M510 mouse earlier today but wondered if anyone here had more knowledge than me in this area, i.e any knowledge whatsoever.

Thanks in advance.

If you want aesthetically pleasing and very usable then you can't go wrong with the DiNovo Edge. I've had mine for 4 years and its a great keyboard. However, that will blow your budget.

If you want a functional keyboard then look at the MK320 - I use one in the office and it's excellent if a little bland looking.

Just got my K750 and it is the ****. Really nice to type on and decent for gaming as well. Lightweight, well built, cannot fault logitech customer support. The best thing, you never have to change the batteries...unless you live in a hole in the ground with no lighting whatsoever.

Mousewise I have an M570 because I am odd and love trackballs but if you get logitech stuff then the unifiying reciever is great. Keyboard and mouse both wirelessly connected to the same tiny USB reciever. Excellent.

Just googled the mk320 and yes, it's certainly bland looking. Maybe I'm asking for the moon on a stick here with my budget?

Is the MX anywhere decent. I doubt I'll need the anywhere bit so would it be a waste of money? If I stick with the k750 I'll up to £40 left for the mouse.

I haven't had one for about 10 years, bit do Microsoft still make decent mice/keyboards?

For best aesthetics its going to be K750 with MX Performance. I think Khaaan! has this setup and no doubt will poke his head in here to give his thoughts.

Edit: Look at the M510 or M505.

MX is the best mouse I have ever had the pleasure to use

It's hard to gauge the size of these things. The M505 seems to be aimed at laptop users so I am assuming it's smaller than the M510, but that's pretty much a guess.

Ok, I think I've settled on a Logitech combo of the K750 solar keyboard and MX Anywhere mouse. Slightly over budget but only a little.
