Wireless keyboard/mouse sets. Avoid?

Looking at the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 and not sure if the RF connection will mean a slow response. Anyone else use this kind of desktop set or even this particular one?

Don't want to spend any more than £30 and this caught my attention.

Never liked MS stuff, always Logitech and Fast-RF (I also don't like Bluetooth but its BT 2.0)

Would I be better off with just the wired Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000?

I already have a Raptor Gaming M1 1600dpi mouse.
