Wireless keyboard playing up.

Starting today for some reason I have to press a button upto five times before it will respond, I've had to resort to using my pda! I've used 3 different sets of batteries and reset the reciever numerous times, I cant figure out why it isn't working, unless it has something to do with the 1.5T magnet that was left near it?

Any ideas, or is this just yet another failed logitech product?

My mouse, pda-phone, tv, printer and wi-fi router. However all of these have been there ages with no problems and they all operate at different frequencies, and strangely enough the keyboard seems to be doing this in spates. For a while it's fine, then it stops working again.
