wireless keyboard

hi,

i have a logitech ultra-x wired keyboard, but would now like a wired one.

ideally i want it to be like the ultra-x, in that, it must be in black or silver or a combination of the two, and have flat notebook style keys.

the problem is that most wireless keyboards seem to come in a combination with the mouse. as i already have an mx1000, i don't need a new mouse.

are there any separate wireless keyboards that meet these requirements.

if not, is it possible to buy a wireless desktop and only use the keyboard and not the mouse?

It is possibly to not use the mouse. Just take the batteries out ;)

I've just made the move back from wireless to wires because I'm a picky gamer who notices the input lag.

Sorry I can't recommend any wireless keyboard.
 
so i can use a keyboard from a wireless desktop set, and use that with the mx1000 i already have?

yeah, i'm not much of a gamer so that shouldn't matter too much!
 
you certainly can. you can even you both mice at once in some situations. handy for me - i have a logitech dinovo set but for gaming i use a wired mx518. for sitting back and surfing, the wireless mouse is great:)
