I currently have
Netgear WNDR3300 wireless router
connecting to
Netgear WNHDE111 bridge for PC/Xbox in lounge (PC used for network shared storage)
Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N USB on kitchen PC (used for gaming and music, stored on lounge PC)
Various laptop PC's and iPhones using internet connection.
I find it very slow between pc's and the lounge pc used for mass storage.
I have a wireless N network, which lounge PC connects to router on, and a wireless G for laptops, iPhones and kitchen PC.
I tried the wireless N in the kitchen but the signal is bad, although only about 5m from the router, its worse than the G band!
I have a spare wireless G router, and was thinking are there better Wireless N routers? I dont mind swapping kit, so was thinking setting the router to wireless N, getting usb wireless N plugs for the 2 PC's, and setting up the spare wireless G router as an access point for laptops, iPhones and the xbox.
Anyone have any recommendations? I am getting fed up of these slow speeds.
Cheers people
