Wireless letters on routers and cards

I use a G atm , a buffalo 128 AOSS G card and it works ok. Trying to get some info out of the guys in a competitor was a nightmare, they just read of the box what it says, hell, i can do that myself lol...

So my simple question is this.

As i have a AOSS setup at home and its all on G as its abuot 2 years old. If i buy the N version, will i get an increase in speed from the computers to the internet or is it just a range thing?

You will need to change both the router and wireless cards to N versions to see increased speeds on the LAN.

You will not see increased internet speeds as the G specification already exceeds the speeds that ADSL and cable broadband can achieve.

Guess its a buffalo N upgrade time then. wonder if OcUK do them.
