I'm looking for a way to avoid running a 4 meter cable from my computer to my 'coming soon' 24" monitor. I know there are a couple of wireless GFX cards out there, but I'm happy with my card and don't want to outlay huge amounts of cash. Are there any decent (low lag/high quality) signal senders out there that would allow me to connect the computer to the monitor wirelessly?

There are, the costs are far higher than that of a cable however (like ten times higher). It's prohibited to link to competitors and auction sites so linking to something useful is rather difficult but I'm sure that if you search for "gmyle wireless hdmi" that you'll find what you're looking for.
Thanks for that - I've found similar stuff, but as you mentioned it is all prohibitively expensive. Shame really that this never took off as a tech, I guess the advent of mirroring and systems like MS Glass will make it all irrelevant anyway once our screen catch up.
