hi
i`ve had an mx1000 wireless mouse for a couple of years now, its been a good mouse but now its getting a bit knackered. i thought i`d replace it with an mx1100. could anyone tell me if they are as good as the mx1000s?

I would be keen to know the same, my mx1000 is on it's way out and I am looking for a worthy successor.

hi mate, just got the mouse this morning , i haven`t had time to mess around with it yet but first impressions are that its very good. been having to put the old mx1000 near to the the reciever thingy for it to work but this mx1100 is about 3 metres away and seems to perform great.its not rechargeable but you get 2 duracell batteries with it and set point says i have 284 remaining days of battery power so buying loads of batteries doesent seem like its going to be a problem. up to now i`m pretty pleased with it. just thuoght i`d let you know

you might want to ask around a bit more before buying one but if you do i don`t think you`ll be disappointed. in my opinion its better than the mx1000.

stryder which is heavier the 1100 or the 1000 and what battery is it using AA or AAA? I got the G7 right now but might get another one for backup as my G7 is getting flaky sometimes.

hi
according to my scales the mx1100 is 163 grams and the mx1000 is 143grams though to tell you the truth i can`t feel any difference. the batteries you get with it are just standard AA DURACELS.
hope this helps
