Wireless mouse help

Ok, I gots me a wireless mouse and keyboard. When I reformat will I have to connect them via usb or will they work straight away? Thanks.

They should work as long as the reciever is connected to the PC.

You might have to check you've got the right USB setting in your BIOS if it doesn't work straight off.
