Hi

Im currently using the logitech mx 3000 desktop bundle. The mouse is an mx1000. Not sure on the keyboard.

Having a lot of problems with wireless lag.

When i first bought the set about 3 years ago, i suffered a bit of lag with the keyboard, but eventually went away after a few weeks. Didnt really notice it in windows.

When GTA 4 was released, i took my headphones downstairs (speed link medusa 5.1), which has its own amp.

When i brought the amp and headphones back up into my room, i now seem to have a lot of mouse lag and some keyboard lag.

The only 2 games I've been playing recently is Cod 4 and the original AOE.

In cod 4, i get a lot of delay shooting, or sometimes it gets "stuck" shooting. I also have problems with the keyboard not working a lot of the time. Aiming is very sluggish too.

Aoe i dont really notice it. In windows i sometimes notice the pointer slows down / stops.

Anyone got any ideas? I think your not suppost to have the reciever near speakers / monitors which mine is, but its been like that since i bought it and it doesnt help moving it away.

I tried emailing logitech support, but after no reply for 5 days I've given up on them

One other thing, i bought the Razor eXactmat which arrived wednesday. My mouse would work fine with this, am i correct?

The MX3100 Kit is a MX1000 Laser Mouse and Elite KB, the MX3000 Kit should be a MX700 IR Mouse + Elite KB.

I dont see any way to change Channels on this set up with Setpoint, could on my older Logitech Mouse/KB Kit but Setpoint may be different in Vista.

Just try pressing the Button on the Receiver then while its flashing press the button on botton of the KB, then repeat for the Mouse and see if it actualyl mentions a channel number.

ah my mistake was an mx 3100.

it doesnt bring up anything about a channel number when i reconnect

edit:

keyboard stays on channel 1, mouse doesnt show a channel

it seems to lag a lot in cod 4 and windows if i use the mouse and keyboard at the same time.

dont know if that helps at all
