Wireless music streaming

hey there experts

i'm transferring all my cd's to mp3 as you do and i want to be able to listen to them without having to be on my pc (which is upstairs).

my original plan was to have a barebones system with a decent soundcard and set of speakers in my living room connected to my main pc via wireless network, however the cost of this seemed a little steep.

as i started to look into it though i came across a potential solution and wanted opinons or recommendations. i saw this product from logitech (removed the url just in case so you wont be able to click it) which is a wireless music transmitter and receiver. it connects to powered speakers (i've got some 5.1 jobbies around gathering dust) so it looks like it could be a solution.

but my question is to you guys is it any good? will it work? does anyone use this system or something similar? is it worth getting?

If so, I'd like to hear reports too, as I'd love to be able to stream music all around my house

I know Creative do something similar too.

Anybody else know of any other similar systems/solutions?

yeah that's the one - pretty good value i thought. thinking about it, it would be nice to have a digital display on it too but that's not really essential!
