Using my Talktalk Huawei HG523a at the moment, its not got the best signal, or enough wireless throughput for my Xbox 360 to use media centre.

What's my best bet? I've looked at loads of routers but therr doesn't seem to be any our right winner, they have pros and cons. I've looked at Belkins, Netgears, Asus'. Don't really want to spend more than £80, less if possible.

Belkin F9J1102uk, Netgear DGND3700, ASUS RT-N53 are some models.

Edit: also to make it a little harder, I'd prefer one that could be stood up as my current one is on a tiny shelf by the front door.

Just so you know, the RT-N53 is a cable router.

Personally, I recommend either the Billion 7800N or the Asus DSL-N55U, both are ~£110 though

Billion 7800N is HIGHLY regarded by many.
I'd love one but just can't justify the cost.

Been keeping an eye on the auction sites and the like, they don't depreciate much either :(

Yeah, I can't justify the costs, also don't fit the bill as the one I saw wasn't able to be stood up.

Because of the little semi-circular shelf I have, its only 15cm from centre to the outer edge.
