Wireless N Pre-N

Yeah I have a Belkin Pre-N router hooked up to my 20mbit be connection.

For me the real benefits are much better coverage/reception when compared to a 54G network. However the speed of transfer can be misleading especially when using a 54G wireless card with the router. For maximal benefits I use a Belkin Pre-N card in my desktop, and that is significantly faster then the other comps on the network at receiving/sending data.

One of the drawbacks is that DECT phones can and do interfere with the signal. Overall however I would choose a Pre-N network over a 54G.

We recieved them at work... look very sharp and good around £130 though so similar to the netgear pre-n routers also.....

The only thing I didnt like with them was theres no inbuilt ADSL modem. Seems a good Ethernet ADSL modem is required which just means more cables/wires sadly.
