Wireless N speeds?

I have a Belkin Vision N router, a PCI N wireless card with 3 arials, and a `N` USB dongle.

All these things are within 5m of the router, yet I recieve crappy transfers (3.3MB/s tops) I was getting about 2.4MB/s on wireless G before.

Is it the USB dongle that is slowing me down (due to the lack of arials)? If I bought another decent PCI card, would that be better? Or would it be throwing money for no reason?

My 85mbs homeplugs transfer at about 1.8MB/s, so Im back to using that for the time being.

Calculating the losses you were getting on G , you should be getting about 9Mbytes/s with N.
So yeah it's not working properly at the moment.

Not Using an older version USB port is it? or a USB hub?

Also i'd expect 85Mbit homeplug to get better than 1.8MB/s, you should be expecting 2 to 3 times that.
