My wifi card in my Samsung R60+ has packed up so I'm on the lookout for a wireless n usb replacement. I want a micro usb one as anything any bigger sticking out of the laptop will get broken by my techno phobic other half! Can anyone recommend one or are they all similar? I've seen a few online that would fit the bill.

You might be able to replace the internal Wifi card, depends if it's integrated onboard or whether it's in a miniPCI slot hidden under a flap on the back. If the latter you can get a replacement miniPCI card which will probably be better for you.

Sorry, I should have said I'd already had a look at the underside of the laptop. There's no removable flap for the wifi so I don't know if I can change it. I'll have a look and see how easy it is just to remove the complete underside and have a look inside.

Fortunately the wireless card was in the same compartment as the memory. It's a mini pci-e card with 2 cable connections on it. I have seen similar cards (Intel/Atheros/Asus) so I take it I can put any card in as long as it's a mini pci-e one with the 2 cable connections?
