Will the Wireless Linksys router plug into my existing Linksys wired router via ethernet slot?
Or are we saying to get a wireless Linksys that will also have Ethernet sockets on it? Can the wireless be turned of easyly?
Getting something like the linksys can probably replace you existing route as it has a four 4-way ethernet switch ... it is in effect the same as your existing router except it has an addtional wireless access point added.
Alternatively its quite possible to only use the switch/access point part of it with your existing router ... just connected one of the LAN ports from existing router to LAN port of new router and ignore its WAN port. Only minor issue is may need to connect to PC on its own initially to set its IP address to something different from default as it will probably default to the same as existing router + turn off DHCP server as you don't want 2 competing! I've done this in the past + this has the possible benefit of allowing you to move the wireless point to where it give best coverage and only have 1 ethernet cable to route there
