Ok i have purchased a new antenna to extend my outdoor wireless range.
My plan was to swap the current aerial with a new larger one and put the old one up in a new location.
The old antenna has a n type connection and the lightning arrestor has an n type connection BOTH are male ends. The trouble i have is the new antenna has a female connection and wont go onto the old cable.
Am i right in thinking that i need a new cable with a N male on one side and a RP-TNC Male on the other. I have a feeling that this isnt the correct thing to do and most likely wont work
