wireless network card ....help

hi

i plan on getting a wireless network card for my desktop PC to connect to the hub/router (for internet)

thing is im not sure on which to get

theres like 300Mbps....600Mbps....

what speeds does a normal (standard) wireless card have?

i dont want to spend a lot on this ....so a reasonable price should be ok

i use the PC for gaming....downloading...and streaming videos

It depends what router you're going to connect it to what speed you'd get. There's no point buying some proprietary standard (like the 108Mbps Netgear ones) if the device at the other end doesn't do it.

my router is a BT2700HGV....from BT....i think its a hub/router =/ .....not exactly sure..

That is a wireless G router, so get a 54mbit card.

edit: looks like OcUK only do quicker cards? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-002-DN&groupid=46&catid=1597&subcat=1622 is only 14.99 so may as well get that so it will work with quicker routers, if you change in the future.
