Wireless network card suggestions

does anyone have any suggestions for a decent high end wireless card. Sadly the only option for gaming for me and the one i had previously on my old comp was unreliable anf dropped a lot.

People are gonna say homeplugs, I've never used them though.

Antenna position might be important too, something external and directional might help

I highly recommend getting homeplugs rather than wireless for gaming. Wireless does not really cut it at all, take it from me who has tried several acclaimed high end wireless cards.

Never even heard of Homeplugs to be honest. Any one care to explain ?

They use the power cables in your house for network traffic.

So you would have:

Router > ethernet cable > homeplug ------------------- homeplug > ethernet cable > end device.

Ah they sound good. Im guessing they would work. Any way to tell if they wouldnt?

They will work without a doubt,they are very very very good.

I went from wireless to homeplugs 6 months ago and never looked back.

Well worth the money and have never let me down.

All I have is ocuk value range homeplugs and get 40 meg out of 50meg and my pc is upstairs.
