Ill tell you my setup before I tell you the problem :)

Internet -> Desktop -Via wireless> Laptop

My desktop computer is

2.2Ghz
2GB RAM
ATI x800GTO2
BT Voyager 1040 PCI Adapter

The laptop has a belkin card and just enough specs to surf the internet :P.

the problem is whenever I play a game on the desktop, the wireless connection on it stops working.

I have no other problems appart from this one.

any suggestions or anything else i can tell you that might help?

I have a problme with one of the PC's in my house, that when the PC is really working hard the PCI ADSL modem drops the connection, and as soon as I stop the intensive task it connects again.

My PC that the problem is on is good spec, with 2gigs PC3200 ram, P4 2.8 prescott etc., but I do have a lot of background apps running. It could be that games take it over the edge from a power/processor useage point of view, and hence it has the choice of run the game or the wireless card, and it goes for the easy option. (layman's terms I know, but that's how I see it on my PC). I don't get this with every game, and it can also happen with apps. For me it's only occasional though.

Because the game send and recieved packages... to be able to play online that is... so the wireless will go very slow or even turn off... mine does anyway...
