I recently bought a new PCI Wireless card (D-link DWL-G510) to install on my aunt's computer. However the problem is my uncle's wireless network (I think it's a BT hub type thing) has the wireless network hidden by default.
When we first set things up I got him to unhide the network so I could connect, then once it was established and working he hid the network again. However as soon as the network is hidden the PC won't connect, even though the option is ticked in the networking setup to "connect even if network isn't visible".
So any ideas what I can do to resolve this problem? My uncle doesn't want the network visible (even though it has a long, numerical WEP password), but I can't connect without it being visible!
