Wireless network sharing

I am shring my Cable internet amongst 4 other people using a D-Link wireless router.

I sometimes get disconnected only to get reconnected a second later but these times are far an few between. Is there a better option for a router? mid to high price range.

Also to give the other guys a better signal would it help to get a larger antenna/
