Is this normal? If not how do I increase this?

DG834G router and (at the moment) WG511v2 card on my laptop. Given the rated speed of all the equipment I'm surprised it's proving to be the bottleneck. Must be a setting I haven't changed I thinking?

I'll give it another try to see if the speeds increase. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
