Wireless network + wired LAN = problem!

Hi,

I have recently finished setting up a wireless network in my house using a wireless router + wireless NIC with static IP addresses. Everything runs fine until I try to connect to my xbox via ethernet cable LAN connection. Everytime I do this I am unable to access the internet - the wireless connection stays active but for some reason no data can get through. If I disable the LAN connection things are back to normal. Its almost like one is overriding the other. I should note that this happened even when the router was set to automatically assign IP adresses.

Can anyone offer any solution to this problem and perhaps an explanation of why its happening?

Thanks.

Your using ICS in windows to share your wireless net connection to your LAN that your xbox is on [exactly the same as me]. However, windows doesnt let you specific an ICS IP, it has to use 192.168.0.1, which you might be using for your router?

So when your LAN activates its causing a conflict with the network.
