Hi

I have a Orange BB livebox which i have used without issue for months with an ethernet cable on my W2k pc.
Got an xbox360 wireless network adaptor for mi birthday last week. Plugged it in and didn't get very far.
Orange Helpline says i need to set up wireless networking on the pc then i can get the livebox thing to search for other devices and all will go swimmingly
So i borrowed a usb wireless adaptor (Inventel **054g) from a mate and eventually found some drivers that will work and installed it and .............
no wireless connection in windows... adaptor driver is happy and 'scanning' for a connection.
Root of my problems is I do not have the option in network and dial up connections to access wireless network connection settings
I don't know why and i am proper stuck.
Does anyone know how to get w2k to wake up to the possibility of wireless networking. I have searched windows knowlwedge base thingy but not found an answer to what i think my question is.
Thanks for reading this far

If you have any advice on the configuration of the livebox tat then please sing out.
I think i need to set the WEP key on the livebox inorder to activate its wireless function - how i do that with w2k, rather than the 'wireless network connection' settings in xp has got me stuck

all this to be a console gamer........
