I currently have a Belkin USB Wireless Adaptor, Best it achieves it 30-45mb/s , where the router itself delivers 100mbps over ethernet. If i go for a PCI Wireless Network card, am i likely to see speed gains ?

It's a Virgin Media Superhub, their 3rd version i believe (Newest Model)

It's literally upstairs above the router, but if i stand by the router with my tablet, i get 108mb/s

The PC only gets the speeds above... But the adapter is over 5 years old so was thinking of either another usb device like the asus model, or a PCI-E Card that would leave a free USB3 Port...Of which i only have 4 and don't really want to add a hub.
