wireless not detected ?

ive just been given a acer aspire 3000 to reinstall and did the job installed all the drivers but... it says there's no wireless hardware. theres nothing to say its missing a driver in device manager (as its not there) and when i press the wireless on/off button on the laptop it just says no device so any ideas on what to do ?

ive also tried the bios and nothing is there ?

Sounds like it doesn't contain a wireless card.
Have a look inside the case. You may have to remove the keyboard or a cover underneath to check.
