Wireless only seems to work sometimes ?

Alright guys, having a problem with my Wireless internet it never used to do this. recently it seems to only work for a shot ammount of time. In the morning it will work on my Iphone Laptop etc then at night i go on my iphone wifi and it cannot connect to the router ? but this morning its not working now. Connected pcs and working fine but just not the wireless.

i have the Linksys Wireless-G ADSL Gateway with SRX200 WAG54GX2

i have the latest firmware of 07.

My isp Orange ( Crap) have changed my interent package recently but i wouldnt of thought this would effect the wireless?

i do notice that the interent light is sometimes Dim on the router.

any help ?

See the Interent Light is REAL dim but i have the interent on my PCs, its like its not Powerfull enough to send it wirelessly ?

Normally the Internet light is the same Brightness as the others

Also on my iphone its only on 1 bar on the wifi indicator and wont load google on safari like the interent isnt powerfull/fast enough. mmmmm

Screenshots dont seem to want to work for me but is there a possibility you have neighbors on the same channel as you?

mmmm dam should do,

oh ? what do you mean by that?
there is another network my iphone finds Talktalk, mine and theres are both Passworded but like you say can they be on the same Channel ?

how do i change this ?

atm my router is on 6-2.437Ghz if i change this what will it do? have to setup connections again or

It'll change the channel. Whether you have to "setup connections again" will depend on the router and the devices you connect to it - you certainly shouldn't though.

Either the router (if it has some kind of wireless survey option) or some other device should show what wireless network the other network is using. The options worth trying are 1, 6 and 11 - the rest overlap somewhat with those.

If the light's going out (and you definitely have an internet connection) it sounds like something strange is wrong with the router though.

right just changed the channel from 6 to 10 and it seems to be working now on the iphone so seems like next doors was on the same channel then!
