The wires can get in the way of gaming so its always better to get a wireless mouse. Keyboard is no problem though.

really like the look of those Razer ones, but like most other mouses will they be ok for lefthanders, will have to go to pc shop and have a try of some and see what they are like

Copperhead for lefties, logitech ones are all rather right-handed orientated.

@ BAMBI - How can you say wires get in the way. I've always found this strange but unless a PC is behind me.. then the wires go straight back and don't get in the way whatsoever.

Wired mice all the way.

I've never found that mine gets in a tangle, it's you're own fault really if you do.

All you need is a little slack.

Plus wireless mice have the disadvantage of having to replace/recharge batteries. This also makes them heavier.

Wired mice will also be faster, although I assume the difference is marginal.

Regards to choice of mice, it's always best if you can feel them in you hand first. The copperhead for instance is good for finger tip control and flicking about.

thanks for the replies,im going to get myself the copperhead,it was the blackadder but i like the look of the copperhead to,plus it will be better for us daft lefthanders, cheers again to all for your help

A Wired mouse will always Pwn a wireless for gaming. Casual gamers may be able to ignore a wireless mouses faults but a hardcore gamer would not even use a wireless in the first place.
Weight, feel in use & Responce is far superior with a wired.
The argument about the wires getting in the way is laughable, look at the size of your matt, are you really trying to tell me you get tangled in wires moving a mouse around in that little space :p
If so then please step away from your keyboard as you are quite obviously a danger to yourself.

just one more question please,i have my mouse running on my wood desk top, would it be ok for the copperhead to run on that or would i have to get myself a mouse mat cheers, and if need mat any suggestions please

I'd recommend getting a mousemat just to improve tracking on the mouse, even if it works on the wood table it may not work as well as on a mouse mat.

I've been using one of these for years and they are great:

That mouse mat there is a sheet of hard plastic, good grip on the underside, a sort of rough surface (but isn't harsh on your hands), and the size is about the height of an A4 sheet and a bit wider than the width of an A4 sheet.
