Hi,
anyone know a good pci wireless card that has a really good range and connection on it?
I have a shed at the end of my garden with a computer in it, but it doesn't get a really good connection and randomly disconnects.
will THIS be any good for long range and good connection?

Don't believe all the marketing hype surrounding 802.11n.

If you want a stable connection get a good brand (3com/Netgear/Cisco/Buffalo) PCI card with a detachable antenna jack then fit a directional antenna to it. Something like a 10dbi yagi or patch antenna.

If you need sirectional range get a directional entenna for the card, preferably high gain also. Though comms go both ways so make sure your router has enough range to talk back, depending on the router you might be able to replace on of the antennae with a high gain directional also which would be ideal.
