wireless printer share?

hello i have a wireless router with 1 computer wired to it and a laptop that uses the wireless. They cant seem to see each other, ive set all the ip's correctly any ideas?

windows firewall, make an exception for file and printr sharing. they both need to be members of the same workgroup name ideally.
also they need to be sharing something before they will show up. so make a folder thats shared on each.
if you know the ip address try this
start>run> '\\ip_address_of_other_machine_here' > press enter

Yes.
Can they ping each other or the router?
What do you get if you feed in \\[IP address] in the Start, run box?

they cant if wifi isolation is selected.

By default, it'll work. No kit comes with any option like that enabled by default...
