I'm wondering if there's any way I can share my current HP PSC1350 printer wirelessly between my MacBook and my PC?

I've got a NetGear DG834G (v2) Wireless router, a USB wireless dongle for my PC and a Macbook - what other items do I need to set it up?

Thanks!
Although they are quite expensive :( - £70 for a netgear one...

Any other inexpensive alternatives to a print server?

Edit: That Linksys WPS54G for £60 sounds better than the netgear but still, £60 :(

The only other suggestion would be to connect it up to your pc and share it accross the network, but if that isnt an option then you are looking to spend around £50 for a wireless print server, even wired print servers are about £30 i think.

Is the MACbook and PC on the same network?

If yes then all ya have to do is connect your printer to lets say the PC and then share the printer..

So at the moment im assuming your setup goes like this :

pc - router - internet

mac (connects wirelessly) - router - internet

However both being on the same network?

If the printer is not connected to the PC then unfortunately u will require a printer server..

My setup is indeed PC-Router-Internet, with the Macbook connecting wirelessly to the router - same network.

So I can share the printer? How can I set it up? If my PC is off, I assume I cannot print via the macbook?

if your printer is off you can print using the macbook because you have a router..

Yes you can share the printer..
