Hey all,

Had the HP Deskjet 5940 laying around from the £60 rebate offer (back when I got the MBP) and decided I'd get it out and set it up as it'd been locked away for months.

Anyway, got it out.. configured it along with a spare Airport Express I'd previously used for music, and within 10 minutes I had set up wireless printing in the cupboard :)

Have to say, it was such a joy to set up and works so well (as I have the printer out of site) I can't imagine how I did without it before.

In fact I'm looking for things to print! haha the shame!

The only niggle I have is that when I print the print dialog opens but doesn't quit after the job finishes.. if it quit automatically it'd be perfect :)

I don't have a wireless printing story, but I did plug my Canon printer in the other day, 30 seconds later I could have printed something if I wasn't too tight to fork out for new cartridges. :p

Oh how I loathe my PC. :/

Just found out you don't need to install drivers if your printer is covered under the Bonjour presets :)

Reason it took 10 minutes instead of 10 seconds is because I had to wire a socket extension and cable tidy the printer on a shelf in the cupboard.. gotta love OS X!
