ok i think this is the right place for this..

at the mo, i have a printer downstairs that i used to use, along with my dad.

now ive moved my pc upstairs, i cant access that printer, so i want to be able to print wirelessly...

what do i need to do this??

thanks guys

How is your printer connected to your network now ?

Is it connected via a network cable, or is it plugged into the PC downstairs ?

Also - is your upstairs PC already hooked up wirelessly to the network, or do you need to know how to do that too ?

You can get an Apple Airport Express..

Simply connect the printer to the block, install the printer drivers on all the pc/macs that want to use it, and bob's your fathers brother ;)

You can do it for a hell of a lot cheaper though. ;). Also depends on the printer.

ive got a netgear router at the mo which my and my dad both use for the wireless internet. (im soon having a seperate line tho, and so we wont be on the same router)

he it connected via usb to the printer next to his pc.
