Hi all I've got a US Robotics 9106 adsl gateway. I can connect fine over ethernet but am unable to connect to it over wireless. It has been working fine until today. I can see the network in the connections window and have 5 strips, but when I try to connect I get an error "Windows unable to connect network, network may no longer be in range" . I'm sitting 1 foot away the gateway!! . I get the same message from another machine in a different room. Have defaulted and up graded the firmware, also tried with no security enabled and always the same problem. Is it time to get a new gateway? Thanks inadvance René :D :D

I currently have this problem at my mums house. It works wirelessly on her laptop and my PC but doesnt for my laptop or gf's laptop
Havent found a solution yet, the only thing I can suggest is try updating all drivers as well. bit of a long shot!

I have had this before and needs to manually setup the wireless connection in the Windows Wireless Network properties. Give that a try as worked for me several times

I believe that this is a wireless issue as the strength is highly unstable and keep getting an AIPA address rather than a pucka address, changed the channel and tried many other things. Have bought another router and hopefully that'll sort the issue. Also decided to re-engineer the router using a hammer, didn't sort the connectivity issue but made me feel a lot better!! :D
