Hey everyone, yesterday I bought a Belkin Wireless bundle with router and USB stick so that I can network and use the Internet between my PC and laptop.

The laptop I have has wi-fi, and is now set up fine and can access the Internet. However, I'm having problems with my USB adapter (Belkin F5D7050 version 4)
Since looking on the Internet for help, I've discovered that this USB adapter doesn't support Vista 64bit  No warnings about this on the box before purchasing.

Has anyone had any luck with getting hold of some drivers to make it work, or can anyone recommend me a PCI card for my PC that WILL work with Vista 64bit. I've emailed Belkin who have said they are working on drivers but there is no release date yet and might not be for a while.

Got same kind of thing with a Belkin F5D7051. Although this adapter works if wireless security is switched off on the router. Although Vista is the problem, I can't see why this should be as we are really dealing with something quite simple here which has nothing to do with Microsoft. Are we going to start to get Vista flavoured peripherals now?

dammit, i was about to post a thread, asking why my new belkin usb stick doesn't work. well i have vista 64bit, so thts why!!! argh.
