I guess that someone would have asked this before but, i am getting really frustrated now so here goes,
I currently have sky with the max package that connects up to 16mb, however i am only getting between 500kb and 3mb when connecting wirelessly (15mb through LAN cable)..
I am using the standard Sky router and a Belkin 7001uk internal pci wireless card, the icon on my computer one min is saying 11Mbps weak and 54Mbps very good connection, there is approximately 4 meters between the router and computer with 1 wall (no electric sockets or pipework of any type, how can the signal change every minute or so and not ever go quicker than 3mb..
Is it time for me to change the router or PCI card, if so any recommendations, or any other advice is extremely welcome... Thank You
