Wireless Problem

We have had a Belkin wireless router for years, but over the past couple of days it has stopped working as well as it used to. My computer automatically connects to our secure network, but downstairs my dad's laptop doesn't see our network. I used to connect to the internet on my phone through WI-FI but now I cant connect to our network. I have restarted the router and it seems fine but can't figure out whats wrong.

Thanks for the replies, I will try a different wireless channel. Its on channel 6 at the moment, what should it be changed to? I don't understand what the channels mean
It's 2 years old so it's kind of annoying that it might be on it's way out so soon lol.
